The accounts were circulated and approved.
WLDC Infrastructure Levy
There is a balance of £1884.60 available. Possible purchase suggestions were made:
Water Boiler for community use – F Walter to purchase. To be stored in the Church.
Water Tap possibly sited within Church grounds – J Lockwood to action.
Lay-by north of village – to prevent future flooding, it might be a good idea to have the leaves swept and the drains sucked out. A Deague to action.
Litter Pick
This was a huge success with a large turnout. Plenty of bags of rubbish and old tyres collected.
G Beattie to send photo of the copious amounts of rubbish on the old A15 to Highways/Council and ask them to clean.
Road Surface – Blackthorn Lane
J Lockwood had spoken to Eddie Strengiel, Chairman of the County Council, who agreed this will be on next year’s schedule of works. Funds had already been allocated for this year. A request was also made to resurface Cammeringham Hill.
Planning Application WL/2025/00266
There were no objections.
Village Hall Update
An email from Mrs Sharon Thornhill, Cammeringham Representative, had been circulated by The Clerk prior to the meeting and there were no further comments.
Village Venture
Mr Judge confirmed that the Village Venture was going well, but they could always do with more funds.
Solar Farms – West Burton, Cottam, Tillbridge, Gate Burton
A rally had been held in Lincoln and there is still time to raise objections to the Tillbridge Scheme.
Safety of Lithium Batteries Campaign
Please read previous correspondence circulated by The Clerk.
