Agenda Items
Speed Reduction in the Village
The Clerk reported that Ross Taylor ESG co-ordinator for Grange Farm Energy Community Fund had requested feedback from residents on the impact of the insulation of the speed cameras. Councillor Menzies suggested that WhatsApp be used to ask for feedback from residents. The Clerk to action.
Accounts
Up to date accounts were circulated and approved.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Sunday 5th June
The Chairman reported that the event had been excellently organised and subsequently a great success.
Councillor Walter reported that there had been a good turnout of 76 and confirmed that every household had received a commemorative bag which had gone down well.
The Chairman thanked Councillor Walter and all those that helped with a special mention to Carol and Julie for all their hard work.

Councillor Deague enquired about the whereabouts of the old brass plaque which had been on the old bench and suggested that it should go on the new bench alongside the new commemorative plaque as it represented a bit of history. The Chairman to action.
Litter Pick
It was agreed to set the date of the next litter pick at a future meeting.
The Clerk to research Local Community Award schemes with a view to nominating Mr & Mrs Davis who litter pick around the Village on a regular basis.

The Clerk confirmed that the site was being kept up to date.
WhatsApp Group
The Chairman reported that the WhatsApp group was going well and being used sensibly.
. Village Hall Update
Councillor Deague reported that the Village Hall was running well and not in need of any donations at the present time.
Village Venture
Councillor Judge reported that the Village Venture was still in need of funds stating that the £150 donation agreed by the council at the last meeting had not been received. The Clerk reported that the formal request for funds had not been received. It was agreed to send £150, the Clerk to action.
Planning
Cottam Solar Project was discussed, no comments, no further action required.
